Packages!!

A little piece of heaven has arrived at the Hanson household.... It came wrapped neatly in a box (a DHL box to be exact) and had "happy birthday Katherine" written on the outside. Talk about excitement... Talk about making my little girl's day... Talk about uncontrollable laughter... It wouldn't have mattered WHAT was in the box. All that mattered was that a box came, and it had Katherine's name on the outside! LOL. Uncle Jay and Aunt Debbie sent her a birthday present in the mail, and Katherine could not have been happier! LOL. They sent a Barbie set and a princess jump rope. As soon as Katherine saw the jump rope, she started laughing, and said, "Mommy, how did they know I love princess stuff"??? Boy, I wonder! LOL.

While Katherine was at preschool this morning, Caleb and I went over to my parent's house. My dad had the morning off from work, and Isaac (my brother) was there. He was leaving this morning to go on a little spring break trip with his friends from undergrad. I got to see my brother, and Caleb got to see his pop-pops. So it was a win-win situation for all! My mom, Isaac and I decided to take Katherine out for lunch after preschool at her favorite place.... Cracker Barrel. Most kids like fast food and McDonald's -- not mine! She wouldn't eat a chicken nugget if I paid her! And a cheeseburger is completely out of the question! LOL. She'd much rather eat pancakes and bacon with the geriatrics at Cracker Barrel! Seriously, we had to be the only ones there under 50! Right as the food was coming, she decided that she wanted to sit by my mom, so she pulled up a chair and sat on the end of the table. I was a little worried about the arrangement because there were some elderly people sitting at the table next to us (SURPRISE!! LOL) and they had crutches and a walker. Wouldn't you know -- the crutches fell over and hit the lamp that's fastened to the table and fell right on Katherine's head! LOL.

In other GOOD news -- I went to WW last night and lost 3.2 pounds! Oh, happy day! Only a "couple" left! Val -- I know you're way a head of me, but I'm workin' on it!!
