...and so it begins....

Fall... My favorite season. A time of cooler weather, crisp fall air, pumpkin patches, and sweatshirts. But this year it's different. My baby girl starts preschool next week, and it's now 3 days every week. UUUUGH. I'm already having heartburn about her being gone so much. I'll be a neurotic mess next year when she starts kindergarten. I'm soooo not ready!

Tonight she starts dance lessons, and she can't wait. She's taking a 45 minute class that is half ballet and half tap. After that, she's taking a 30 minute tumbling class. She's been looking forward to this all summer, and it's finally here. She's ready, but her overprotective, can't let go momma isn't so sure. August isn't even over yet, and I'm already missing the lazy days of summer. Getting up around 7:30 and making the all important decision... Should we go to the pool, Adventureland, the zoo, a park, the Science Center.... I'm warning you now, next year is going to be a ROUGH one for me...

I'm off to clean. Katherine's preschool teacher is coming over tomorrow night for a home visit before school starts, and the house has to look good!

Which reminds me.... Do you ever have those days when if someone would walk into your house, you'd just die??? We were gone and busy all weekend and I wasn't home more than a few minutes at all this past weekend, and our house just turned into a dumping ground -- toys everywhere, laundry that had to be done, bathrooms that needed to be cleaned. You get the idea... Anyway, we went out with a bunch of friends/neighbors and Danyel was nice enough to get two sitters and invite Katherine and Caleb to her house. When we got home around 10:30 Katherine, Caleb and Walker all decided that they needed pancakes, so off to our house we went. I could have died... My house was a disaster!! GRRRR..... Hate that....
