I must be a genious....

....because every time I guess Caleb is sick... well, he's sick. Can my poor little boy come down with *anything* else????

This morning I took him back into Dr. Jon's office and sure enough, his little throat was right red and his tonsils were swollen. He swabbed it to check for strep throat, and thankfully it came back negative. Then he did some blood work to make sure it was virus... which it was. So, he's got a virus, which I can't remember the name, again!

For anyone who's wondering... it's not hand foot and mouth again. With HFM you get little ulcers in the throat, which he doesn't have. But, having HFM (which he had less than 2 weeks ago) weakens your immune system and makes you more susceptible to other random stuff. Good to know!

Poor Caleb, he's so crabby, isn't eating, and contagious for 48 hours. I'm thinking he's on the mend though, as last night he slept through the night again. He's still not eating, but at least now I understand why. So, for now, he's on a steady diet of popsicles, fruit and anything else that will slide down easily!!

Here's to hoping he's better tomorrow! It's supposed to be a gorgeous day -- under 80* and sunny. The *perfect* day to take the kids to Adventureland, and then after naps we can hit the farmer's market in Valley Junction. Laurie also asked me to watch Morgan, so if Caleb is better, she'll come and play for the night.

OK -- I'm off to scrap!! I've been working on the same page for days now, so I'd LOVE to get it done!!
