Night terror

Last night was a rough one. None of us got much sleep.

Caleb woke up up around 2 am screaming and crying. He's cried out in the middle of the night before, but immediately falls asleep. Last night... not the case. He cried for about 5 minutes so I went into get him and make sure everything was OK. When I opened the door, I could hear him roll over and then stand up. He wasn't standing up in his crib crying, he was laying down, holding onto his beloved Big Bird and crying in his sleep.... Bad dream? Maybe, but I really don't think so. After I picked him up he continued to cry and scream for a bit, but then realized that I was holding him and he settled down. I was up with him until almost 3 am and then put an exhausted little boy back to bed.

This morning he slept until 9 am! Much later than normal, but considering what happened in the middle of the night, my poor little boy was tired. I sooo hope that he sleeps peacefully tonight.

The kids and I spent the day with Matt's parents and my nephew, Leo. We met them at the mall, played in the play area and had lunch. The kids had a blast! Then after everyone woke up from naps, they came over to our house for dinner and to play. Leo was in heaven! He ran around outside with some of the neighbor kids, played with tons of new toys, and went over to Rick and Danyel's house for popcorn and cartoons.

While the kids played outside tonight, Fran and I went to Hobby Lobby. A ton of their scrapbook stuff is on sale 50% off, so I had to pick up a few things. I needed an off color of paper for Katherine's new pictures, so I was able to find the perfect stuff on sale. Gotta love that!!

Tomorrow we're headed to Adventureland and for the first time this year, Matt is meeting us out there after work. WOO-HOO!! Katherine can't wait for her Daddy to take her on all the water rides.
