...am I blogging when I should be sleeping??? Well... let me tell ya....
At 1:00 am Matt nudges me awake. Katherine is calling for you, he tells me.... I instantly hear her screaming and run in.
"I'm sorry Mommy... I'm so sick.... I threw up.... " She's sobbing and as soon as I turn on the light and move toward the bed the unmistakable smell smacks me in the face.
Oh. It. Was. Horrible.
I'm not sure how she did it, but she must have puked in her sleep. It was all over her pillow, down the side of her face and in her hair. So I stripped her down and threw her in the tub. Right as I'm picking puke out of her hair Caleb starts yelling/crying. Matt runs in there and guess what he finds??? The mess of the century. Puke is everywhere.... All over his bedding, his floor, the wall. Pretty much everywhere but on him!
So here I am, 1:15 in the morning.... Both kids in the tub..... Matt running the carpet cleaner...... Starting laundry..... feeling queasy myself....
We finally get them both cleaned up and put them into bed with me. Since Matt has to work in the morning, he gets to rest in the basement with the promise that he's a cell phone call away! LOL. I laid them on huge waterproof pads that they use in the labor and delivery ward. Those sure come in handy!!
As soon as they get settled into bed, with clean jammies and hugs, Caleb starts puking once again. Immediately Katherine joins in. So there I am, two kids throwing up in my bed at the same time. Oh. My. God. It's going to be a long night... and it's not even 2:00 am yet!

wow. So what was it that made them so sick? I'm not sure if I could handle that. I have a hard enough time changing diapers. lol
