2 hours...

That would be the approximate amount of sleep I got last night. UUUUUUGH! Caleb kept waking up throughout the night, wanting his mommy. He was burning up! His fever always gets higher at night, and between the fever and congestion he now has, the poor little guy couldn't breathe and was really chilled. The combo made for a really bad night.... Even during his nap this afternoon he woke up every 30 minutes. He wanted to sleep, but just couldn't... Katherine, on the other hand, slept from 1 - 5. Yes, she took a 4 hour nap, and Caleb finally woke her up or she might have slept longer.... Thankfully, one of them is well on the road to recovery.

Today, I was the friend I told myself I'd never become... Because Caleb took a turn for the worse with the congestion and coughing, I called Val. She's my *wonderful* friend from high school that also happens to be a pediatrician. Dr. Jon sent me home with a couple different drugs, to use in case he gets congested, coughing etc... Since it was after hours, and I couldn't get a hold of him, I called Val. I wasn't sure which one to use, etc... Can I tell you how wonderful it is to have a friend in the know!!! Love ya girl!

Tonight after Matt got home from work I took off to run some errands -- I had to pick up the cupcakes for the big preschool party tomorrow morning, and buy Katherine a birthday dress. While I was at it, I also picked up Caleb an outfit that "coordinates" with Katherine's. Pictures are coming up -- Katherine's 4 year and Caleb's 18 month. Since I found coordinating outfits, I'm hoping to get a good one of the two of them together. I'd really like a great one to hang on the wall of both of them, and I wasn't totally happy with the Christmas pics...

I'm off to bed. After last night, I'm exhausted! And I've got a lot to do tomorrow...
