DUCKS!!

Since it was such a gorgeous day today, after gymnastics we met the Launderville's for a picnic in the park and to feed the ducks in the neighboring pond. The kids went through over two loaves of bread!!

Katherine and Caleb were so sweet today. They spent the first half hour picking me countless bouquets of dandelions and were just giddy at the gift they'd found. Caleb kept coming up to me and saying, "Close your eyes Mommy. I have surprises for you! One... two... three... four... five ... SURPRISE!!!" and he'd hand me a fist full of dandelions -- leaves and all. Oh, man... talk about melting my heart!

Here's one of the many bouquets of "flowers" I got today! LOL.

Here are my two babies picking the dandelions.

After feeding the ducks, we went to a nearby park. Here's Katherine and Nicholas on the tire swing...

And the little boys -- Caleb and Caden.

The kids on the walking trail on the way to the park. Michelle and I couldn't help but to chuckle at them. How sweet is it that they all grabbed hands and took off??? This isn't a posed picture -- just four kids playing together out in the sun. We are so fortunate that they all get along sooo well!
Feeding the ducks.

On the way home we drove by a couple of houses and their lawns were literally covered in dandelions. Katherine was totally impressed and is going to ask her Daddy to put that many flowers in our lawn so that she can pick me flowers anytime I run out. How cute is that??? I'm sure Matt will get right on that suggestion! LOL.

ok. First of all, Katherine can come to our neighborhood. The dandelions are PROLIFIC. Secondly, being the bird watcher that I am, did you have the bird book with you so that Caleb could identify the ducks??? LOL
