Too funny..

The things Caleb says totally crack me up. He's learning to talk, but sometimes doesn't get it quite right. The concepts are there, but the words just aren't....

So right before naps I was giving the kids a snack and cleaning up the kitchen. All of a sudden Caleb started laughing and then said, "SSSCCUSE ME MOMMA. MY BOTTOM HONKED" and then he reached to cover it (much like you would your mouth when you burped). I couldn't help it, it totally cracked me up, and once I saw Katherine laughing, it was game over! It seems that the harder you try not to laugh, the more you can't help it!! We were all rolling!! Which is terrible because it only feeds that behavior (cross apply his fake belching routine), but man -- it's soooo funny!

Last night at dance all the girls dressed up in their Halloween costumes. I've got pictures to upload, but haven't had time yet. I'll try to get them up tonight after we go trick-or-treating. For anyone wondering, Des Moines does not trick-or-treat on Halloween night. We have something called Beggars Night the night before where all the little kids go trick-or-treating. So after the kids wake up from their naps, I'll get them dressed and head over to Danyel's house for dinner. She invited a bunch of us over for a little pizza party before the big night. Can't wait!!
